Steel scrap

Here we distinguish between two main groups:

New scrap:

Thick new production steel scrap, predominantly more than 3 mm thick, prepared for charging.

Thin new production steel scrap, predominantly less than 3 mm thick, prepared for charging.

Thin new production steel scrap (less than 3 mm thick), compacted or in the form of solid packages, prepared for charging.

Mixed lots of carbon steel turnings, free from excessively bushy turnings, loose material and machining steel turnings.

Old scrap:

Old thick steel scrap, predominantly more than 6 mm thick, dimensions not exceeding 1.5 x 0.5 m, prepared for charging.

Old thin steel scrap, predominantly less than 6 mm thick, dimensions not exceeding 1.5 x 0.5 m, prepared for charging.

Shredded steel scrap, old steel scrap fragmentized into pieces that are no larger than 200 mm for 95% of the load. In the remaining 5%, no piece is larger than 1000 mm. Prepared for charging.
