REON GROUP Day: Because People Make Brands!

On 17.05.2024, we invited all our employees to celebrate the first REON GROUP Day. With fun and games, the teams behind the seven companies came together to form the REON GROUP on this day.

People make brands. For the seven companies of the REON GROUP, around 300 employees across 16 locations have been representing and sharing the values and characteristics of the new umbrella brand with our partners and customers since 1 August 2024. It was therefore important to take the next step together. This was an opportunity to look back proudly on over 100 years of experience in the scrap business and to celebrate the latest development toward becoming the REON GROUP. The new look and feel of the umbrella brand was communicated internally and carefully scrutinised by colleagues. In keeping with the industrial setting, the new logo was sprayed directly onto the containers and skips using stencils and paint. A downpour came just in time, like thunderous applause from outside, while the employees of the REON GROUP gathered in the hall for food and drink.

What remains are the proven concepts of the individual companies, the use of state-of-the-art technology, compliance with the highest ecological and economic standards, a strong network, reliability and timeliness. The REON GROUP, which was established jointly by Scholz Austria GmbH, Eisenhandel Gebeshuber GmbH, Fritz Kuttin GmbH, Scholz Rohstoffhandel GmbH, Schrott Waltner GmbH, SROT Gebeshuber s.r.o. and Scholz Recycling Kft., brings with it the opportunity to pool expertise and resources in a way that allows resources to be utilised in a more beneficial and responsible manner for people and the environment.
