International trade comprises four sub-sectors:
1. Domestic:
International trade handles the distribution of iron scrap from its own warehouses and from third-party suppliers to the domestic plants in Marienhütte, Donawitz, Linz and Breitenfeld.
2. Import:
The domestic plants in Linz, Donawitz and Breitenfeld are supplied with Hungarian, Slovakian and Czech iron scrap.
3. Export:
International trade is responsible for the sale of iron scrap and metals from the company’s own warehouses. In addition, material from third-party suppliers is exported. The primary sales markets are Italy, Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
4. Transit:
This area covers the international trade of iron scrap, mainly from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary to Italian steelworks.
