We remove tyres, glass, fuel, operating fluids, catalytic converters and lead accumulators. The vehicles are then crushed in the shredder to make the separation process easier. This shredder is powered by a 2000 HP engine. In the next step, the separation process, we can use (almost) anything!
The metals in an end-of-life vehicle are also, of course, separated accordingly. The non-ferrous metals are freed from magnetic parts and waste first, so that they can be reused as raw materials after processing. Other materials such as plastic are separated in the shredding and separation process and sent for external processing.
